About Taga Safaris Africa

Taga Safaris was formed in 1994 by wildlife enthusiasts Mark Garzancich and Celeste Greenblatt to coincide with the birth of a new democracy in South Africa. Taga Safaris is a member of SATSA (South African Tour and Safari Association) the governing body for tour operators. The company operates in the capacity of safari operators/brokers/agents for the complete Southern and East African region. Safaris range from exclusive fly-ins, luxury safaris, overland safaris to our speciality,… arranging tailor-made safaris of the highest standards possible to suit your personal taste. From the moment you arrive in Southern or East Africa you will be in the capable hands of experienced guides and trackers for the entire duration of your safari.

No one knows Africa better than us locals - after all its our Home. We grew up going on Safaris since 1965 for our family vacations. We don’t visit Africa once a year, We Live in Africa and its our way of life.

We pride ourselves on the 5 STAR SERVICE that we provide to our guests – every detail, from air and road transfers and accommodation to game drives and other activities will be taken care of for you. All you have to do is ENJOY the spirit of Africa with us. Our aim at Taga Safaris, besides our commitment to nature conservation, is to provide our guests with the ultimate African wildlife experience. To ensure this only the best wildlife areas and lodges have been selected and guests are transferred between destinations by scheduled and chartered aircraft so that you may spend the maximum amount of time in the wilderness. Guests are accompanied by experienced guides and rangers at all times who will be at your service throughout your entire safari.
