Chobe Game Lodge - A Botswana Safari Lodge
A dramatic Moorish style Game Lodge on the banks of the Chobe River - situated
in the remote and unspoilt northern extremity of Chobe National Park,
approximately 90km (55.9 miles) west of Victoria Falls is Chobe Game Lodge.
Facilities within the lodge include: a well-stocked curio shop and wildlife
reference library and a stylish Tshwene bar with full-sized Victorian pool
tables overlooking the floodplains. Adventure in sunrise and sunset cruises on
small boats or aboard the Mosi-oa-Tunya, which provides spectacular wildlife
viewing and vistas of an African sunset.
Each of Chobe Game Lodges 4 luxury suites have an individual swimming pool set
on a private terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the endless landscape
and open plains. Throughout graceful high arches quarry tiled floors and barrel
vaulted ceilings create an atmosphere of cool tranquillity. All 46 rooms are
tastefully furnished, each room with hand crafted Rhodesian teak furniture and
walls decorated with original African carvings and paintings.
Facilities within the lodge include: a well-stocked curio shop and wildlife
reference library and a stylish Tshwene bar with full-sized Victorian
pool tables overlooking the floodplains. The Chobe Game Lodges boma (outdoor
eating area enclosed by reed walls) is situated under large Mahogany trees on
the banks of the Chobe River. Like the rooms, the boma has been furnished in
teak and leather.
There are two Restaurants: The Table d'Hote Restaurant offers a range of
International and Local dishes, the Buffet offers an impressive choice of BBQ
meats, salads and range of dishes.
