In Southern Africa most safari transfers are done using
light aircraft from one destination to the next. This greatly speeds up the transfer times between lodges and camps thus allowing the guests maximun time spent at the destinations. For guests doing multiple country safaris quite often the scheduled flights between the destinations do not co-incide and many guests op for a private charter as opposed to spending a night in Johannesburg. This most often occurs when guests are in the Kruger/Sabi Sands/Timbavati areas in South Africa and their next destination is one of the countries bordering South Africa like Botswana, Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls or further north.
In the early years we used to have a number of pre-planned fly-in packages but as time moved on the emphasis became the tailormade fly-in safari.
