The Princess Emma, moored at Africa’s most celebrated playground, the V&A Marina, offers a most exclusive travel experience –
the latest hidden gem in The Last Word Retreats collection.
Princess Emma, an 85 foot (25m) 78 ton luxury vessel designed for cruising, delivers exhilarating performance from twin 2000 hp
engines with a comfortable cruising speed of seventeen knots and a top speed of thirty knots. The yacht, built by Princess Yachts
in the United Kingdom is equipped with all the latest navigational aids and safety equipment and is manned by a highly qualified
skipper and crew. Princess Yachts has been acquired recently by LVMH, a French company which has in its stable a number of
other exclusive brands including Louis Vuitton, Moet et Chandon and Hennessy.
Four luxurious en-suite cabins, all independently air-conditioned, can accommodate eight guests. The rosewood and cherry
finishes throughout combine with the luxurious soft furnishings to create an atmosphere of timeless elegance and unrivalled
comfort. The wide aft deck offers alfresco dining for eight and the swimming platform provides easy access to the water. Sun
beds adorn the spacious fly bridge and foredeck.
Rates are per day for the entire boat including an overnight stay and are fully inclusive of meals and local beverages and include
up to a maximum of 25 nautical miles per day after which the diesel consumption will be charged at cost.

Charters
Charters will be tailor made according to the needs of customers and the time they have available. All charters will be quoted on
request. Where moorings are restricted the tender boat will be used to transport guests ashore for exploring the local areas,
lunch, and shopping. All charters booked are weather and sea condition dependent.
One day charters: example
· Clifton – depart Waterfront mid morning for Clifton. A barbeque lunch will be served on board before a relaxing afternoon
of sunbathing and swimming. After watching the sun go down Princess Emma will take a slow cruise along the Atlantic
seaboard back to her berth at the Cape Grace marina. With luck the day will be enhanced by sightings of dolphins and
whales.
· Hout Bay, Clifton, – depart Waterfront mid-morning, cruise along the Atlantic coast for lunch at Hout Bay harbour either
on board or at one of the well known harbour restaurants returning via Clifton for sundowners and dinner on board at
Clifton or back at the marina.
Two day charter: example
· Waterfront, Hout Bay, Simonstown, Kalk Bay, Cape Point – depart mid-morning from the Waterfront to Hout Bay for
lunch. Continue around Cape Point to overnight in Simonstown Harbour with dinner either on board or at one of the well
known restaurants. The next day cruise False Bay to Kalk Bay and Seal Island, returning via Clifton Beach for sundowners
and afterwards the marina for dinner and overnight stay on board.
Three day charter: example
· West Coast to Langebaan – cruise up the West Coast via Dassen Eiland, Yzerfontein, Saldanha Bay. Overnight Club
Mykonos harbour. Next day cruise Langebaan lagoon to Kraal Baai - stay overnight. Depart at lunchtime and return to the
Waterfront for dinner and overnight stay at the marina.
Three to five day charters:
· Southern Cape Coast cruises to Knysna can be tailor made to suit the needs of clients.
Rates
· Rates are per day and include an overnight stay, meals on the boat and all local beverages and 25 nautical miles of
cruising at an average speed of 17 knots.
· Lunches and dinners in restaurants onshore are not included in the rates, these are for the clients own account.
· Rates exclude laundry, shop purchases, transfers to and from the Waterfront Marina and gratuities.
· A maximum of 2 people per cabin sharing
· If a charter is more than 25 nautical miles in any one day the extra diesel used will be charged. The boat is equipped with
a sophisticated computerised engine management system which can be used to optimise the fuel efficiency of the boat.
· Charters are tailor made and will be quoted for on a request basis only
· Rates are inclusive of 14% VAT and tourism levies
· Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
· Rates are subject to industry and market related increases including fuel fluctuations
Child Policy:
· Children of all ages are welcome on the vessel under the supervision of their parents
· The Last Word Yacht Charter Company cannot be held responsible for children on board
· Minors (under 21 years of age) are to be accompanied at all times by an adult/parent when on board the vessel.
Third parties:
· No third persons/adults or children sharing with parents are allowed in the cabins. (max. 2 persons per cabin allowed and
maximum 8 persons on the vessel)
